Novel Bio

The problem
Novel Bio had a new brand book, and its approved marketing needed to be rebuilt to match. Designing a single research paper could take hours.
What I built
I designed new web elements, icons, document templates and social media templates, then turned them into a design system with Claude AI that applies the brand book to any new piece.
What changed
All 7 approved marketing pieces were updated to the new brand, and the new documents the system creates are approved for use too. Designing a research paper went from hours to about 10 seconds, so our scientists only have to do the writing. The same system built a new website and an SEO blog, and site traffic has almost doubled since the relaunch.

The 248 Barbershop

The problem
Jovid is a talented barber, but making video content, keeping up a website and managing bookings all competed with time in the chair.
What I built
A new website from scratch, a rebuilt Square booking portal, and refreshed Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts. I’m also building an AI video system with Claude: Jovid adds a few real clips, like him cutting hair, plus a line about the video’s goal, and it returns a 15 to 30 second edited clip with an intro, outro, transitions, effects and animated text.
Where it’s headed
We just launched, so results are still coming in. The goal is to give Jovid a steady stream of polished videos and build his public reputation as a master barber, without him having to learn video editing.

Hey, I’m JJ.

A sales guy with an engineer’s brain. I studied Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Vermont. By day I work in sales and marketing at Novel Bio, a biotech startup, where I used AI to rebuild the company’s brand, website and blog. I know firsthand how much of the follow-up, admin and content work AI can handle.

A creator, too. I built World of Wubs, a dubstep and bass music brand, to over 12,000 followers on Instagram and have worked on media projects with brands and festivals. That taught me what it takes to post great content consistently without burning out.

Why I started this. Small business owners are running sales and marketing on their own, on top of everything else. I want to give them the same kind of AI setup I use every day, without needing a tech background.
